Yanni gives you some insights on how he creates music. You can’t judge it, you can’t observe it, you have to let the music come to you, surrender to it, let it flow through you, become one with it. The creative process is a state of mind. Athletes call it the zone.

Look who surprised us at our pre-concert fan gathering at Claim Jumper Restaurant in Hoffman Estates, IL on July 30th 2016, Yanni & his daughter Krystal! We had about 50 fans at the gathering enjoying a wonderful dinner and conversation. They had no idea Yanni was going to stop by.
I met them outside the restaurant and when Yanni walked in the fans were in shock and so excited! Yanni was so gracious to take time for photos and he even took Krystal’s phone and turned the tables on the fans and photographed them.
Such a fantastic time! Expect the unexpected!
After our wonderful fan gathering we all drove over to the Sears Centre Arena and enjoyed a wonderful night of music. The music, the lighting, the clarity of the music in the arena was awesome! Yanni and his talented musicians put on an amazing concert. If you’ve never been to one of Yanni’s concert, please go to one. In our big group we had some people that have never seen Yanni live in concert. They walked out of the arena loving his music!
Here are some videos I took at the concert. Enjoy!
